
Right-click on the C: and choose Properties.
Click on Selective Startup and temporarily uncheck Load Startup Group Items.
Go to Start, Run, and type in msconfig. Once this is done, close all open windows.
Empty the Recycle Bin by double clicking on the Recycle Bin and click on File and then Empty Recycle Bin. Answer yes to any of the prompts that appear. Click on Edit at the top of the screen, then Select All, then click on File, then Delete. Click on the View tab, then click on Show all Files to place a check by it. Once in this folder, click on View, then Folder Options. Next, open Windows Explorer again and find the folder C:\Windows\Temp. Click on the program folder once to highlight it and press the or key on the keyboard to send the folder to the Recycle Bin. Click on Start, Programs, and then Windows Explorer and find the folder the program used to be installed in (The default is c:\programfiles\bethesdasoftworks\morrowind). Once the uninstall is complete, close all of the open windows. Find TES Construction Set and double-click on the name to begin uninstalling the program. Find Morrowind and double-click on the name to begin uninstalling the program. Click on Start, Settings, then Control Panel. Make sure to back up any save games to a safe location before performing this procedure. To correct this issue, use the following method to uninstall and reinstall Morrowind. This will occur if the current install of Morrowind is corrupted.
